(SHREVEPORT, LA) - After ruining the night for thousands of tricker-or-treaters in the ArkLaTex, Mother Nature pushed through the heart of the ArkLaTex Wednesday night with heavy rains and strong gusty winds of up to 60 mph. Rain amounts ranged from 1-4".

Power was knocked out for many as trees brought down power lines in some areas.  There are also scattered reports of some street flooding, but nothing major reported.
KTBS 3 Weather Water Robert Morris of DeQueen, Ar shared the following video of driving rain in his area.  He says he's received 3.72" of rain today.

As the storms moved through, residents braced themselves for the possibility of hail, strong gusty winds, heavy rain and possibly even tornadoes.
The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down near Eagle Lake at about 3:30 p.m. in Colorado County, Texas.  That's west of Houston.
